MERCHANDISE SUBMISSION and COLLECTIVE MEMBERSHIP
**DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, NO NEW CONSIGNORS OR PURCHASED LINES ARE BEING CONSIDERED AT THIS TIME.
Instead, we are changing up operations a bit in 2022 for a slightly different business model which supports artisans and makers as the small businesses that they are, rather than promoting their specific line of goods.
This means we are welcoming applications for collective members to join up with the Redux Family to showcase their work alongside other local, like-minded artisans to network and collaborate on a cohesive collection formed by combining a multitude of tiny shops!
IF YOU ARE AN ARTISAN, MAKER, ODDITIES COLLECTOR, VINTAGE PICKER, JEWELRY OR ACCESSORIES DESIGNER INTERESTED IN BECOMING A NEW COLLECTIVE MEMBER AT REDUX PLEASE CONTACT TAMARA AT [email protected] OR CALL US AT (503) 231-7336
A little bit about Collective Membership:
- Space is made available within the store to like-minded artisans or collectors who can fill up a small space rented monthly, similar to a Vendor mall. 97% of sales are paid out (a 3% Credit card use fee is retained). Rent is payable monthly with a month-to-month rental contract. Sales payouts are made every two weeks. New collective members are welcomed with the consent of existing collective members.
-Collective members must also be able to contribute to a work schedule and commit to in-store sales help at least one (six hour) day per week, (or two days, three hours each) which increases during the month of December. This provides an excellent hands-on-experience of what it's like to own and manage your own retail store, and Tamara, the owner and manager of the collective forthe past 16 years, is available as a mentor and small business advisor while we get your shop up and running.
-All merchandising, restocking, displays, tags, packing materials are the responsibility of each collective member. I have a multitude of tools and tips I'm open to share about how to optimize and utilize creative materials for awesome merchandising and displays.
-Use of the POS system, tracking and inventory management systems, computers, printers, internet & phone, utilities, surveillance system, and restroom use is included in the monthly rental price.
-Not included in the rental price is web hosting or any kind of online shop presence or marketing/promotion of the store.
-Collective members must carry their own renter's insurance to cover their merchandise within the store.
